gusto = enjoyment or vigor in doing something: zest

I love the bubbly sound of little voices saying "meeeeee" as they anticipate their participation in an activity.  Hands on (and full body) activities bring out an enthusiasm in learning.  When the whirlwind begins spinning I like to harness the wind with activities like snowball flurry, ninja obstacle course or bubble burst.  There is nothing like stirring little one's senses as we get our hands sticky mixing dough and tasting spices.  My heart is warmed as I see little "Rembrandts" proudly show mom or dad their creations of the day.
